Using a sponge brush I brushed the black chalkboard paint over both sides of the chicken wire.

How to make chicken wire wait rusty, too!

Since the blackness chalkboard paint technique (above) worked out so well to make information technology await aged, I wanted to endeavor and take this i stride farther by trying to make it look rusty, too.

Using the same sponge brush (I needed fast results), I brushed on dabs of craft paint in colors: dark brown, burnt sienna and bright orange over the black-chalkboard-painted craven wire.

I dabbed off the excess with a newspaper towel, let the paint dry (for a few minutes), and and so repeated the same process a few times.

Worked like a charm!

If you are looking for a quick way to get an aged wait on craven wire, or if you are looking for a fast and easy manner to make craven wire await rusty, using black chalkboard and/or with a few rusty color craft paints will do the job.

I don't think I would utilize this method for outdoor projects, merely I think information technology would work all solar day on a variety of indoor chicken wire projects.
